Reliable Chevrolet is seeking an Sales Manager (SM) / Assistant Manager (ASM) that can help build our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to improve their automotive career. MUST have automotive sales experience.


Job Description:

Drive volume and market share growth through traffic management excellence

Deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintain high customer satisfaction

 Hire, train, motivate, mentor, counsel and monitor the performance of all sales employees.

Forecast goals and objectives for the department.

 Identify and merchandise old age units daily keep them merchandised and cleaned properly.

Promote communication and teamwork with all other departments.

Direct and schedule the activities of all sales department employees.

Communicate and enforce the dealership policies and procedures.

Guide sales staff in setting their objectives.

Provide support to sales staff to close deals.


SM / ASM's need to be comfortable managing people and be able to lead by example.

Required to understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations, and comply with these regulations.

Must have strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.

Must be able to work extended hours, evenings, holidays and weekends.

Must be strong on the phones and a skilled appointment setter.

Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate.

Valid Driver's License

Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass an MVR and background check.

Pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
